The publication "Enterprises in Portugal 2005" presents the mains results for the Portuguese business sector, excluding the units of the financial and agricultural sectors. These results are not directly comparable with the results published for previous years. As a consequence of the increasing use of administrative data, a better coverage of the business population was obtained, which reflects on the results.
