Summary
The main purpose of this publication is the dissemination of the most recent macroeconomic data for the Economic Accounts for Agriculture, Base 2000. The structure of this publication presents the second forecast for the Agricultural Income for 2006 and a series for national values concerning 1980-2005. The main aspects that can be taken from the analysis of these data are:
• the second estimates for the Income from the agricultural activity presents an increase of 1,8% in 2006, measured by the index of the real income of factors in agriculture per annual work unit.
• although the big decrease in 2005, net entrepreneurial income has generally increased, in nominal terms, between 1980 and 2005. Its evolution is rather irregular, due to the quality of the agricultural years.
In order to provide a better understanding, some methodological notes are included at the end of the document.
