The results from the Integrated Business Accounts System covers the years 1998-1999 and refers to the fourth financial year of the Accounts System, which has begun in the years 1994-1995. The data follows the same structure: the results are presented by employment size for all the 23 sectors of the economic activity, according to the Portuguese Classification of the Economic Activities - 2nd. Revision (CAE - Rev 2). It includes a set of economic accounts, its balance (value added, gross operating surplus, current gross profit before taxes and self-financing) and other asset items.
