Summary
The Revista de Estudos Regionais (Regional Studies Review), now issued for the first time, demonstrates the potential to explore statistical data and conducts an in-depth analysis of current subjects of recognised interest. Hence, the first article discusses labour market flows through the analysis of an Employment Survey series; the second article addresses the specificity of urban spaces, through an empirical analysis of the Lisboa and Vale do Tejo Region; the third article presents a reflection on the competitiveness of Portuguese regions based on the Territorial Competitiveness Pyramid developed by the authors.
