Summary
The 2011 edition of the Environment Statistics compendium was completely redesigned in terms of contents and visual displays, including 14 new chapters, covering economic analysis, physical indicators on environment and a large range of tables with basic data. Statistics Portugal, in compliance with its mission and goals, disseminates an entirely new publication which aims to provide a wide scope of data responding to the needs of users who require information related to environmental and economic activities, policy planning and dynamics of societies.
