This third issue of Social trends in Portugal, released every three years, presents a synthesis of the social data available on population, offering an overall picture of Portuguese society in the nineties. This issue also includes time series and provides a thematic analysis enriched by the participation of a group of researchers, which kindly collaborated with the National Statistical Institute of Portugal.
