Economic Accounts for Agriculture

Summary
The main purpose of this publication is the dissemination of the most recent macroeconomic data for Economic Accounts for Agriculture, Base 95. The structure of this publication presents forecasts for the Agricultural Income for 2003 and a long-term series for national values concerning 1986-2002. The main aspects from the analysis of this data are:
• the first forecast for the Income from agricultural activity per full-time worker equivalent is estimated to have increased 3.3% in 2003;
• net entrepreneurial income has increased, in nominal terms, between 1986 and 2002. Its evolution is rather irregular, due to the quality of agricultural years.
In order to provide a better understanding, some methodological notes are included at the end.
