Tourism dynamics in Porto Metropolitan Area

Summary
The review now published was developed under the protocol of collaboration between Statistics Portugal and the Porto Metropolitan Area (GAMP). This work examines supply and demand in tourism, and tourism activity performance as well.
The analysis is focused on the GAMP contextualisation relatively to territories comprised in it – Norte Region and Portugal –, and with reference to another similar territory – the Lisboa Metropolitan Area (GAML).
The statistical information is arranged in the 14 municipalities ranged by GAMP, allowing thus to identify the distinctive intra metropolitan dynamics.
