From January to July 2007, exports increased 15,8% and the imports 2,9%, originating a reduction in the deficit of the Trade Balance of 14,2%.
In this period, imports of Food and beverages grew 25,2% and 14,1% in imports of Industrial supplies. In the other hand, exports of Transport equipment and accessories rose 38,7% and the exports of Capital goods 37,5%. The category of Fuels and lubricants decreased 11,1% in imports and 17,2% in exports.
