Summary
In August 2007 the year-on-year change in Industry turnover stood at 2.5%, slowing down by 5.7 percentage points (p.p.), as a result of worsening in both markets though more intense in the external one (-7.2p.p.).
Also on a year-on-year base, employment and wages decreased 1.3% and 0.3%, respectively, while hours worked (working day adjusted) rose by 0.1%.
