Summary
The Portuguese Presidency in the domain of Statistics will build on the progress made by the German Presidency, with which it shares the objectives and priorities of the three Presidencies of German, Portugal and Slovenia.
The decisions on statistical legislation are taken by the European Parliament and the Council of the EU. Statistics Portugal, as the national statistical authority, will convene and chair 8 meetings of the Council Working Group on Statistics.
