In April 2009, hotel activity registered 3.1 million of overnight stays, accounting for a year-on-year increase of 2.5%, compared with April 2008.   Residents mainly contributed with a growth of 9.7% while non residents with a decrease of 0.7%.
Total income from hotel activity reached 144.9 million euros and income from hotel occupancy 97.9 million euros, both corresponding to decreases of 7.9% and 5.8% respectively
