Summary
In July 2009 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices registered a year-on-year growth rate of -1.1% (-0.6% in June). Employment and the number of hours worked, adjusted for working days, presented year-on-year growth rates of -1.4% and -1.9%, respectively. The year-on-year growth rate of wages and salaries was 5.1%.
