Summary
In March 2009 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices registered a year-on-year growth rate of -5.2% (-4.9% in February). Employment and number of hours worked, adjusted for working days, presented year-on-year growth rates of -1.6% and -2.9%, respectively. The year-on-year growth rate of the wages and salaries was 1.6%.
