In March 2007 the year-on-year change in industrial turnover was 4.8%, accounting for a deceleration of 3.0 percentage points (p.p.). This change was determined by similar movements in sales to both the domestic and external markets.
Also year-on-year, employment and hours worked declined by 1.8% and 3.3% respectively, while wages rose by 0.7%.
