Summary
In October 2006 industrial turnover had a year-on-year rate of change of 8.8%, corresponding to an acceleration of 4.1 percentage points. This was determined by the developments in sales in both the domestic and external markets. Employment and hours worked declined by 3.3% and 1.9% respectively, also in year-on-year terms. Wages increased by 0.9%.
