On the occasion of the International Migrants Day (18 December), Statistics Portugal presents a short analysis of a set of demographic indicators with characteristics on the foreign population in Portugal. This information was obtained from the Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF) (Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service), some of which is published by Statistics Portugal for the first time.
