Summary
In the third quarter of 2006 approximately 11,000 building permits were licensed, and more than 6,000 buildings were completed. These figures represent annual negative changes of 5.2% and 27.8% respectively. From the previous quarter, the number of building permits decreased by 7.9% and of completed buildings by 16.9%.
