Summary
The new orders in construction index presented a year-on-year decrease of 11.3% in the 2nd quarter 2013 (change rate of -19.0% in the 1st quarter 2013). This behaviour was mainly determined by to Civil Engineering sector index which moved from a change rate of 1.3% in the 1st quarter 2013 to 29.2% in the following quarter. The Building Construction index presented a year-on-year change rate of -29.6% (-31.3% in the previous quarter).
