The index of production in construction decreased by 17.3% in the quarter ending in May 2012, in year-on-year terms (3 months moving average, working days and seasonally adjusted), down by 1.2 percentage points from the rate observed in April (-16.1%). Employment, and wages and salaries registered year-on-year change rates of -16.1% and  18.4%, respectively.
