Summary
In June 2008, hotel establishments registered 3.7 million of overnight stays, accounting for a year-on-year downturn of 1.8%, compared with June 2007. Residents mainly contributed with a decrease of 5.1%.
Total income from hotel activity reached 178.7 million euro and income from hotel occupancy 121.9 million euros, corresponding to year-on-year reductions of 3.1% and 1.3%, respectively.
