In February 2008, hotel activity registered 2.2 million of overnight stays, accounting for a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, compared with February 2007. This increase was mainly due to non residents, increasing by 16.6% while residents were responsible for a rise of 5.6%.
Total income from hotel activity reached 101.4 million euros and income from hotel occupancy 65.1 million euros, corresponding to year-on-year changes of 13.3% and 15.5%, respectively.
