Summary
The Portuguese Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 3.1% in March 2008 when compared with March 2007. On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 1.5%. The CPI 12-month average rate of change increased from 2.5% in February 2008 to 2.6% in March 2008.
In March, the Portuguese Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) increased 3.1% when compared with the same month of the previous year.
