Summary
In February 2008 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices registered a year-on-year rate of 2.9%, up by 0.9 percentage points from January. In retail trade, the year-on-year rate for employment, wages and salaries and the number of hours worked adjusted for working days was positive, standing at 4.0%, 9.3% and 4.1%, respectively.
