In September, Industrial production year-on-year rate of change was -4.3% (-1.1% in August) mainly due to Consumer goods (-6.9%) and Energy (-4.7%) industrial groups. In the 3rd quarter 2008 the year on year rate was -1.8% (3.1% in the 2nd quarter). Manufacturing Industry presented a year-on-year rate of -5.5% (null rate in August) partially reflecting different lags of production interruptions.
