Summary
In December 2008, the year-on-year rate of change for the Industrial Production Prices Index was 0.2%, lower by 2.2 percentage points when compared with the previous month, mainly due to Energy Group (-2.4%). The monthly and the annual growth rates stood at -2.1% and 5.8%, respectively. The growth in Manufacturing Industry prices was 2.0% and 2.9% in year-on-year and monthly change, respectivelly, while annual average terms was 6.2%.
