Neste número da COOPSTAT
News
destaca-se a
edição da brochura “CPLP em Números 2015”, um
projeto conjunto dos países lusófonos que visa traçar
o seu retrato demográfico e socioeconómico. Ainda
no contexto da cooperação com os países de língua
portuguesa sublinham-se as ações de cooperação
realizadas na Fase 3 do Programa de Capacitação
Estatística da CPLP e, a nível bilateral, as múltiplas visitas
de trabalho ao INE Portugal por parte dos seus parceiros
de Moçambique, Angola e Cabo Verde.
A Presidente do INE, Alda Carvalho, é entrevistada neste
número e partilha a sua perspetiva sobre a cooperação
internacional, tanto na vertente europeia como
lusófona.
Na cooperação no contexto europeu destaca-se: o
acolhimento de quatro eventos do Sistema Estatístico
Europeu (SEE), entre eles a Conferência DGINS 2015;
os dois estágios inseridos no Programa IPA 2012; e
a participação num Workshop sobre a Qualidade
enquadrado pela Política Europeia de Vizinhança Sul.
No âmbito da cooperação com países terceiros
referem-se as três visitas de trabalho em que o INE
acolheu representantes de Institutos Estatísticos da
China e de Cuba.
This issue of COOPSTATNews highlights the publication of
the “CPLP in Figures 2015” brochure, a lusophone project
aiming to trace the demographic and socioeconomic
picture of the Portuguese-speaking countries. Still in
this context, the cooperation activities undertaken in the
last phase of the CPLP Statistical Training Programme
are outlined, as well as the multiple bilateral visits from
Mozambique, Angola and Cabo Verde.
The President of Statistics Portugal, Alda Carvalho, is
interviewed in this issue of the newsletter and shares
her perspective on international cooperation both in the
European and in the Lusophone spheres.
Within the context of European cooperation the
following subjects are underlined: the hosting of four
events of the European Statistical System (ESS), including
the DGINS Conference 2015; two traineeships under IPA
2012 Programme; and the participation in the Workshop
on Quality Matters for the European Neighbourhood
Policy/ South countries.
Regarding cooperation with third countries, three study
visits were held, in which Statistics Portugal received
representatives from statistical authorities of China and
Cuba.
