Project, a technical assistance mission
was conducted to NSI Sao Tome and Principe (INE-
STP). The consultants Ms. Fátima Neves and Ms. Ana
Dulce Pinto went to INE-STP to help consolidating the
legal framework for both the statistical system and the
institution, namely regarding its compatibility with the
African Charter on Statistics, recently ratified. Some work
was also undertaken in the area of statistical litigation
and statistical delegated functions, as well as preparation
work regarding the next Statistical Council meeting. The
consultants were also invited to take part in an African
Conference on Statistics.

, realizou-se uma missão
de assistência técnica ao INE S. Tomé e Príncipe.
As consultoras Fátima Neves e Ana Dulce Pinto
deslocaram-se a esse instituto com vista a apoiar a
consolidação do enquadramento legal do sistema
estatístico e da instituição, nomeadamente quanto à
sua compatibilização com a Carta Africana de Estatística,
recentemente ratificada. Foram desenvolvidos trabalhos
na área do contencioso estatístico e órgãos delegados,
bemcomo trabalho de preparação da reunião do Conselho
Superior de Estatística. Houve ainda lugar à participação
das técnicas na Jornada Africana de Estatística.
