Entre os dias 6 e 10 de julho o INE e a DGEEC (Direção-
Geral de Estatísticas da Educação e Ciência do Ministério
da Educação e Ciência) articularam-se para acolher uma
visita de trabalho de uma delegação de Angola, composta
por representantes do INE e doMinistério de Educação do
mesmo país. A visita teve como objetivo principal dar a
conhecer aos interlocutores angolanos (Margarida
Lourenço, Mbala Zananga e Teixeira Cabenda) os moldes
em que se processa a delegação de competências em
matéria de Estatísticas da Educação, tendo em conta a
experiência neste domínio através do Protocolo em vigor
entre o INE e a DGEEC. A visita foi acompanhada pelo
Departamento de Estatísticas Sociais e Demográficas do
INE e por representantes da DGEEC que mostraram
bastante interesse e recetividade face à continuação de
atividades de cooperação com Angola no âmbito das
Estatísticas da Educação. A delegação de competências
para a produção e difusão de operações estatísticas foi
institucionalizada recentemente em Angola (junho) e
conta presentemente com sete órgãos delegados (ODINE)
em vários setores (Educação, Pescas, Saúde, Turismo,..),
encontrando-se atualmente em curso a fase inicial de
implementação e de formação de técnicos.
From the 6th to the 10th of July, Statistics Portugal and the
Directorate-General for Education and Science Statistics of
the Ministry of Education and Science (DGEEC)
collaborated in the hosting of a study visit from the
Angolan NSI and its delegated statistical authority for
Education Statistics. The Angolan delegation (composed of
Margarida Lourenço, Mbala Zananga and Teixeira
Cabenda) sought to understand the way in which the
delegation of functions for Education Statistics is
processed, given the experience in this field through the
protocol in force between Statistics Portugal and DGEEC.
This activity gathered consultants from both the
Portuguese institutions, namely representatives of the
Director of the Demographic and Social Statistics
Department of Statistics Portugal and several members of
DGEEC, who showed great interest and receptivity to
continuing cooperation activities with their Angolan
counterparts. The statistical delegation process was
recently institutionalized in Angola (June) and it presently
encompasses seven delegated authorities (ODINE) in
several statistical domains (Education, Fisheries, Tourism,
Health,...). It is currently in its initial implementation and
training phase.
