Statistics Portugal releases the edition Sport in numbers - 2024 with information for a set of indicators regarding sports in Portugal, which result from several statistical operations carried out by Statistics Portugal and from administrative sources. The information reports the years 2019 to 2024, when available.

The publcation is organized into eight chapters: education, employment, business sector, earnings, international trade, consumer price index of goods and services, public financing and federated sport, going through a set of themes in the economic and social context in which the sports activities are developed.
