Summary
This publication is a follow-up to the annual series of construction and housing statistics, making available an extended set of indicators on building permits and completed buildings, estimates of the housing stock, the new housing construction cost index, the regular housing maintenance and repair price index, the values of the bank evaluation on housing and interest rates on housing loans. The main results are analysed and developments and the relevant aspects are described through charts and tables. The publication also includes a brief characterisation of the housing stock and its dynamics, in the light of the final results of the Fourth General Housing Census.
