Statistics Portugal releases the 2^nd edition of Sports in Numbers - 2021 which provides statistical information organized in seven chapters: education, employment, business sector, international trade, consumer prices index, public financing of sports activities, and federated sport, going through a set of indicators on the economic and social dimension of sport.

The information available in this publication results from several statistical operations of Statistics Portugal and administrative sources. The data reports for the years 2016 to 2021, when available.
