Summary
The Portuguese Food Balance Sheet (BAP) is an analytical instrument of statistical nature that measures food consumption from the point of view of food supply. It is expressed in daily supplies per inhabitant, translated into calories, proteins, carbohydrates, fats and alcohol. In this edition, the information for the period 2016-2020 is updated.
A set of harmonized and comparable statistical indicators on BAP is available at Products | Database from 1990 to 2020.
