This publication presents health statistical data in Portugal in 2016, comprising – in general following the third level of the new version of NUTS (NUTS 2013) – ten subthemes: hospitals, pharmacies and medicines, health professionals licensed to practice, births deliveries, morbidity for notifiable diseases, mortality, infant mortality, neonatal mortality, foetal mortality and Health Satellite Account.
It also includes a brief description of the data sources as well as the concepts and classifications used.
