The publication Risco de morrer - 2012 resumes the regular edition of mortality data by causes of death, discontinued since the release of “Risco de morrer em Portugal - 2006” by the Directorate-General of Health. The new series is a joint publication of Statistics Portugal and the Directorate-General of Health.
The publication presents a characterisation of mortality by causes of death in Portugal and 2012, organised in individual summary including an analytical description and statistical indicators for each of the 55 groups of causes of death based on the list used in «OECD Health Data 2012».
It also presents detailed data tables for each group of causes of death, namely counts of deaths by sex, age group and region of residence, as well as derived indicators. Available only in Portuguese language
