Summary

The publication of the survey on Floriculture and ornamental plants - 2012 (IFPO 2012) is divided into three chapters. The first one reviews the IFOP 2012 main results by NUTS II, comparing, whenever it seemed relevant, with the information obtained from the floriculture survey conducted in 2002. The second chapter presents a set of statistical tables with information by NUTS II or municipality, enabling an overview of the sector. Finally, for a better understanding of results, in the third chapter, the methodology and concepts underlying the survey are described.
