How can I file a complaint?

Complaints can be filed directly on the Statistics Portugal’s website, by filling in an electronic form, available under the ‘Contact us’ option on the top of the screen, or in WebInq, in the “Respondents Area” -  ‘Support’ area, under ‘Request for information/clarifications, Suggestions, Complaints’. Alternatively, complaints can be sent by letter, fax, or e-mail, to the institution or any staff member and/or organisational unit of Statistics Portugal. Also, they can be filed in the ‘Comments’ field of statistical user satisfaction surveys, in Statistics Portugal’s Complaints Books in public attendance points, in ‘Suggestion Boxes’ in reception areas, and in all Documentation Centres of Statistics Portugal. The handling of complaints and the timing for response (five business days following reception) are the same, regardless of how it has been filed.
