Portugal, the country which rises out from the preliminary data of Censos 2011 sends us to the continuity of interior/coast asymmetries and stresses, in some cases, the characteristics which we usually associate with the interior. The recessive tendency of most interior regions is maintained, in some cases it is stressed, diminishing the number of regional poles that developed the local/regional areas, even some urban medium size centres.
