Production in the construction and public works sector declined by 6.4% year-on-year, in the quarter ending in April. The decline in production was more marked than in the quarter ending in March, representing a deterioration of 2.7 percentage points (p.p.). This trend was also influenced by the smaller number of working days this month, due to the timing of the Easter holidays.
