Summary
In the second quarter of 2005 residents made a total of 3.4 million trips, which corresponds to an increase of 23.4% from the same period in the previous year.
Demand was more intense for private tourism accommodation and hotels, which totalled 74.3% and 20.2% of total overnight stays respectively.
