Summary
In August hotels registered 5.2 million overnight stays, which represents a positive year-on-year change of 7.1%. This increase was chiefly due to residents (3.1%) and non-residents (9.8%).
Total income and income from hotel occupancy increased also by 3.9% and 6.0% year-on-year respectively.
