Summary
In the second quarter of 2005 the average bank evaluation on housing on the mainland attained €1.229/sq. meter, corresponding to a quarterly rise of 2.5%. The highest average value of bank evaluation on housing was observed in the Algarve region, and reached €1.527/sq. meter. In the Lisboa Metropolitan Area, the average value of bank evaluation increased by 0.5% from the previous quarter, while in the Porto Metropolitan Area it rose by 1.0%.
