In November 2024, the number of deaths was 9,372, higher than the number registered in October 2024 (232 more deaths; +2.5%), but lower than that registered in November 2023 (188 less deaths; -2.0%).

In October 2024, 7,384 children were born alive, corresponding to 0.3% less compared to September 2024 (7,406) and to 3.2% less compared to October 2023 (7,631). 

In that month, the natural balance was -1,736, worsening compared to the same month of 2023, when it reached -1,621. 

In October 2024, 3,383 marriages were celebrated, corresponding to a decrease of 29.8% compared to number of marriages held in September 2024 (1,437 less marriages) and to a decrease of 1.3% compared to October 2023 (46 less).
