In July 2024, the number of deaths was 9,528, higher than the number registered in June 2024 (268 more deaths; +2.9%) and that registered in July 2023 (779 more deaths; +8.9%).

In June 2024, 6,665 children were born alive, a number that decreased 5.9% compared to May 2024 (7,080) and 4.4% compared to June 2023 (6,970). 

In that month, the natural balance was -2,551, worsening compared to the same month of 2023, when it reached -1,838. 

In June 2024, 3,976 marriages were celebrated, corresponding to an increase of 10.0% compared to number of marriages held in May 2024 (362 more marriages) and to an increase of 3.6% compared to June 2023 (140 more).
