The implicit interest rate for all housing loan agreements decreased for the sixth month in a row, from 4.513% in June to 4.487% in July. For the contracts that were closed in the previous three months, the interest rate decreased for the ninth consecutive month, from 3.729% to 3.713%. The average value of owed capital increased 250 Euros, reaching 66,529 Euros. The average value of loan repayments stood at 405 euros, one euro higher than the previous month, an increase of 35 euros compared to the value observed in July 2023 (9.5% more). In the last month, interest represented 60% of the average repayments, which compares with 55% one year before. In the contracts celebrated in the last 3 months, the average value of loan repayments increased 14 euros to 611 euros (1.2% more than in the same month of the previous year).
