Summary
Services turnover index, in nominal terms and adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, presented a year-on-year rate of change of 3.3%, up by 1.1 percentage points (p.p.) from the rate observed in April 2024.
The monthly rate of change of the total index was 2.8% in May (-4.0% in the previous period).
The indices of employment, wages and salaries and number of hours worked adjusted for calendar effects presented year-on-year rates of change of 3.8 %, 10.1% and -0.4%, respectively (compared to 5.0%, 11.0% and 0.9% in April).
