The Industry Turnover Index, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, recorded a nominal year-on-year change rate of -2.6% in May (null variation on the previous month). Excluding the Energy grouping, the turnover fell 1.9% (change rate of -1.6% in April). Domestic market and non-domestic market change rates were -3.6% and -0.9% respectively (-2.6% and 4.2% in the previous month).
The year-on-year changes in employment and hours worked (adjusted for calendar effects), were -0.1% and -1.7% May (0.2% and 0.8% in April), respectively, while the wages rose 6.4% (7.0% in the previous month).
