The trade turnover index recorded a year-on-year change rate of 4.3% in October, representing a deceleration of 1.3 percentage points (p.p.) compared to the previous month. Retail sales grew by 6.4% (5.0% in the previous period), while wholesale trade increased by 1.9% (5.3% in September).
The indices of employment, wages, and hours worked adjusted for calendar effects showed year-on-year variations of 1.1%, 6.0% and 0.8%, respectively. These results compare to the variations of 1.3%, 6.7% and 0.4% recorded in September.
