The trade turnover index registered a year-on-year rate of change of 1.6% in July, which represents a deceleration of 2.0 percentage points compared to June. Retail sales increased by 1.9% (3.4% in the previous month), while wholesale trade increased by 2.6% (4.8% in June 2024).

The year-on-year rates of change of the indices of employment, wages and salaries and hours worked adjusted for calendar effects stood at -1.3%, 5.4% and 2.4% (1.3%, 7.9% and -0.9% in June), respectively.
