From January to June 2007, exports increased 15.8% and the imports 2.3%, originating a reduction in the deficit of the Trade Balance of 14.1%.
In this period, imports of Food and beverages grew 16.3% and 15.9% in imports of Industrial supplies. On the other hand, exports of Capital goods rose 42.1% and the exports of Transport equipment and accessories 41.1%. The category of Fuels and lubricants decreased 10.7% in imports and 22.7% in exports.
